The sportka is the best handling car I've driven so far. I have had 3 basic ka's before and decided to treat myself to a brand new SportKa before it ceases to be made.
Ford now only offer the SE version so mine has the blue insert leather (i don't think they do the red insert anymore).
Like a previous reviewer, I am still very much in the running-in stage and as such have not driven it as how it would like to be driven!
As the rugby player guy said, I get annoyed people thinking it is a girlie car. It definately looks mean enough, and I am getting the very chav like st stripes fitted this week! I have already changed the tails to black led's. They go well with my performance blue colour.
Will be sad when the SportKa is changed so I plan to keep this one for a long time.
I have also had 3 Ka's - The basic Ka1 when they were first launched, then a collection in gold now the Sport - I have loved them all!! I have the same model as yours on a 53 plate, what fun it has been! I do find though that it does not get taken seriously by some - until they have a go!! I've had no problems with it (or any of the others) at all (now done 33,000 miles) and to be truthful, I have only opened the bonnet to fill the wind screen washer!! It has been great, but time for a change now for something a bit bigger (struggle with a pram!). It will be missed!
