1973 Ford LTD Country Squire S/W review from North America
"There is nothing more beautiful than my Country Squire Station Wagon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I got the car the rear Axle was not in good condition. Did replace it.
Needed a Tune-up and replaced the shocks
front and rear. Put a new set of Brake pads in front and new break cylinders.
The engine was tired and not running great. The engine was redone as the specifications of Ford. After that it was great.
General comments?
This car is the sum-mom of what I have been looking for, my Dad had one in 1973 and this was my dream car and now I have one. The wooded grain on the sides, the effectiveness of the way the car handles,
I feel safe and powerful when I am driving it, it has guts and power when needed and is quite economical with the two barrels of the carburetor.
It handles like a dream and I drive it from April to November and it is a joy to look at. This car is simply beautiful.
