2000 Ford Mondeo ST24 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Very capable and comfortable mid size sporty car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Only one problem with the central locking being programmed wrong from the factory.
No other faults so far- a very pleasant surprise!
Pity about the service from Stillwells in Adelaide. No way the car will be going back there for servicings!
General comments?
Very under rated car in Australia. Lots of standard features that competitors don't even have as options (eg traction control, four airbags, 16" wheels, ABS, alarm).
Great engine, very smooth and loves to rev. Fuel economy not too bad either.
Handling is let down by substandard shock absorbers that aren't matched to the springs (do yourself a favour and replace them with Koni adjustables!)
