What things have gone wrong with the car?

Ticking sound from engine when idleing washers stopped working.

General comments?

Great car to drive handles well.

The ticking may just be the injectors, possibly. They are quiet, but just about audible.

Hi I own a st and have for the past three years. The thing is it loses power sometimes when driven hard. I can over come this by turning off key and put back on while still driving.

Any adea what the matter is thankyou.

"Engine loses power... ignition off/on while driving cures.."

Same problem here - it's a lambda (O2) sensor needs replacing.

No its not a lambda sensor at all, its the secondries that stop opening sometimes and are only reset by resetting the ecu. Can be cured by chipping sometimes, but its common on all duratec v6 engines. sources also tell me as nobel also use these engines they created a work around, don't know details as yet. if you don't cane the living daylights out of it then it shouldn't do it. its not a fault, more of an engine protection feature.
