1995 Ford Mondeo Ghia review from UK and Ireland
"These cars are for nothing"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Absolutely nothing everything works on this car including the air con.
Does occasionally make a humming noise when the engine is cold.
Bottom arm bushes will need doing for the mot, but this is common for every Mondeo owner.
General comments?
I paid for this car what most people pay for a years insurance and I can't really fault it.
People who moan about fuel consuption on these have they tried a smaller engined one which are no better. This does 23 mpg round town which compared to the 1.6 lx I used to own which did 24.5 is not a bad trade off for nearly double the power. I've also seen 37 mpg on a long run.
This is also the estate version which is well handy for the dog and trips to the tip.
Its not your usual 25 yr olds car, but its great for wasting hot hatches.
