1998 Ford Mustang LX review from North America
"This car is very reliable, and great on appearance and performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Check Engine light is on.
Exhaust had to be replaced at 154,000 miles.
General comments?
This car is very reliable.
I drive it daily, and I put a lot of miles on the car.
Throughout the whole time I owned the car, I haven't had to spend more than $1,500 in repairs and replacements.
At over 155,000 miles it still runs great.
I look forward to driving the car every day;
it has never let me down.
Ford has done a great job with the Mustang, and the 1998 is no exception.
A little more power would have made it a better car, but for the price and performance you receive no one can complain.
I don't drive really light on the car. I love to accelerate at stop lights, and the torque of the Mustang never disappoints me.
I would highly recommend a Mustang to anyone who wants a beautifully-looking car with the performance of a sports car and the price of an economy vehicle.
