1995 Ford Mustang review from North America
"Reliable, but expensive to maintain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the head gasket twice. The first time was only a few months after I had first purchased it.
About 80,000 miles later, I had to replace it again.
After doing research on this, I found out that it's pretty common with 94 and 95 Mustangs. That was the biggest repair I had.
Replaced the water pump twice and the radiator once. Coolant system seems to have problems in my car. Temperature never seemed to run at the right temp. Was constantly putting in anti-freeze. Other than the cooling system and head gasket, the car ran great.
General comments?
Was a very reliable car. Was very hard for me to give up. Serpentine belt just broke so I decided I needed to sell it before I ran into anymore problems.
Interior was nice, cloth on the seats never wore, cosmetics never wore either.
Except for it being rear wheel drive and not handling on snow/ice/rain very well, it was a great summer car to drive in.
