1993 Ford Mustang LX review from North America
"A blast of performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump went as soon as I bought the car.
Rear end seal went.
Right side of my drivers seat is broke.
The radiator hose blew out. I replaced them with high pressure ford racing hoses.
General comments?
I have owned two mustangs one was a 1990 gt convertible, which was totaled when I was rear ended. Now I own a 1993 lx convertible. This car is extremly fast. If anyone is looking for a car that is affordable, can be beat on and still be reliable, then buy a five liter mustang. In stock form they will put up a fight with newer LT1 camaros and firebirds, even though my car has several thousands of dollars in performance parts.
Overall this car is fun to drive powerful and gets decent gas mileage. I would recommend this car to anyone, mostly younger kids who want a fast, but affordable car.
