2001 Ford Mustang from North America - Comments

"The perfect mid-life-crisis-mobile!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing - The driver side power window has a slight wind whistle (which the shop guys couldn't hear and thus could not fix) but that's it - A very minor complaint.

General comments?

I love the car and would recommend this model to anyone who is looking for good performance (it's a 6 cylinder so it won't pull your lips over your head) and a really good looking car. For the money, there is nothing else on the market that can beat it. I know,it should have been a GT, but the extra initial cost and insurance premiums are not worth it to me at this point.

The driver's compartment is roomy enough for a six footer like myself and the back seat still has enough room for my two kids.

It's all good.

Thanks! I love your review. As a mother of a 5 year old, and the fact that I just turned 40, I joke that "I'm ready for my mid-life crisis car" and I'm picking her up tomorrow! You just helped me make up my mind! Enjoy your ride :-)

I love your review too. I'm WAYYY beyond my midlife crisis now, but still love Mustangs. I started with a 1966 and currently own a 2007. After outgrowing my "boy racer" stage I've opted for V-6's for better fuel economy, better ride, lower insurance and way less purchase cost. I hope you have many happy years in your Pony.
