1966 Ford Mustang coup review from North America
"Ford had a better idea when they built the MUSTANG"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car has been one in a million. Since it was new, the only problem that has cropped up, has been a faulty water pump. After twenty years of dry storage, the only problem has been a new set of points and condenser that had needed to be replaced.
General comments?
This car has been in my family since new. I learned to drive in it, and twenty-three years later, I have just restored it to it's original condition. All factory parts were used, with one exception. Two stage base coat\ clear coat paint, in the original color was used. The engine, although sporting the factory two barrel carburetor, pulls nicely. No real need for a four barrel in this case.
