Just bad luck... I have a 1997 cCobra and have had no problems so far... and this car is fun as well as a head turner!!
I have a 97 cobra and have had no problems with it at all. It is a great car and I have a lot of fun with it. It looks great and runs fast.
The 1997 Ford Mustang Cobra is one of the best cars that I have ever driven. I have been driving Cobras since 1991. Please note that proper maintenance and tuning are essential for a car of this type. Parts are relatively inexpensive for this model and most of the work can be accomplished with a modest set of tools while using a tech guide that can bought from a local car part store. I have encountered many people that have asked me to look at problems that they experiencing with their Cobra and in all cases turn out to be poor attention to the maintenance schedule and neglect to properly tune the motor.
Just bought my 97 Cobra 4 months ago, so far, its been a great toy. No problems!
