2000 Ford Mustang GT Coupe review from North America
"Fast, cheap, and all American"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
It would stall at the most odd times. I was racing it once and at the end of the 1/4 mile all systems went down e.g. power brakes, steering. I thought the belt fell off, but it didn't. I turned the car off and then on again and every thing was fine. This happened to me more than once. Not just when I was racing it.
General comments?
13.99@99mph is pretty good for bone stock. I pushed it into the high 12's with no filter. The shift box is too far away and I could never get the seat just the way I want it. There's no weight in the back. That gives it no grip and the tires spin all the time. That's OK if you want to do a burn out till your tires pop.
Overall I like the new look. The side scoops bring back that sixty's look. They could have changed the inside considering it is the same as the 98.
