2001 Ford Mustang Cobra review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch Noise.
General comments?
I have 2001 Cobra and it's exhibiting the same types of problems that are being written here. Clutch started to squeak at about 2000 miles. Replaced pilot bearing. Noisy again immeidately. Replaced the clutch (plate and all). Noisy again. Replaced the TO bearing. Noisy again. Dealer has it now - we'll see what they do.
FYI, Ford has a customer relations number where you can bring complaints like this. They claim that this is not a common problem... But from this site it appears that it is.
We should all complain together, that's probably the only way Ford will do anything after the warranty is up.
