2002 Ford Mustang Basic review from North America
"A pretty sweet ride"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My driver side window motor went shortly after purchasing the vehicle.
The brakes lines gained a huge flow of air.
A squeak still persists when riding over bumps.
E-Brake freezes in snow, and cold conditions.
General comments?
Owning a Mustang was a dream of mine since I was a little girl. When I bought my 2002, I thought that this would be a dream come true. It rides very nice, however, persistent problems remain which the dealer cannot give me answers to.
I installed 255/16 tires to have more rubber on the road when driving in the snow and rain. I added a 50lb. sand bag to help the fishtailing in raining conditions. The tires though made a nice difference.
For a V-6, it does have a lot of power, and can take off at the line very well. I drag raced the car and did very well down the quarter mile. It won me very well the race!
