1996 Ford Mustang GT from North America - Comments

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Oil pressure sending unit failed.

General comments?

I bought my candyflake red 'stang with Cobra rims on a whim as an antidote to the van I was forced of necessity to own (four kids) and rapidly advancing middle age.

For me, it's strictly a sunny summer days only cruiser. It's a comfortable attention-getter with great a/c and stereo. Good dry-weather handling. (Terrifying in the rain.) Decent acceleration and a 240+kmh top end.

Even after four months storage, it runs well, passing ASM2525 emission testing with flying colours. Fuel consumption is approx.14mp (Imp) gallon.

Compared to the more sophisticated higher powered competitors that have come out since, under the skin my pretty baby's age is showing. But for us aging boulevardiers, looking good is more than half the battle.

No one ignores a flashy Mustang. What's under the hood is your business.

A reliable sporty, but comfortable cure for boring transportation.

Nice review, however I did not much info on the quality of the ride.
