2002 Ford Mustang V8 review from North America
"Great affordable sports car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No problems, to date.
General comments?
This is the first North American car that I've owned. I wanted a change from the "sensible" family cars that I owned before. The Ford Mustang is a great sports car at an affordable price.
The V8 engine is incredibly powerful - a whole new driving experience. I no longer get frustrated by waiting for red lights - any opportunity to accelerate this car just adds to my quality of life!
This is the first car I've owned where total strangers have actually come up to me and said "you have a great looking car!".
This is not a state-of-the-art car ... but it is solid, sure, and most of all...very powerful. After 30 years of driving I had lost any sense of "fun" from being behind a steering wheel. With the Mustang I look forward to driving it next.
OK... it's a bit heavy on gas..it's definitely not a family car - and it's a bit lumbering at low speeds - but I love it.
