1974 Ford Mustang Ghia review from North America
"Awesome luxury, price handling with slight underpower"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This question is not really an easy one to answer. I found this car under a neighbors apple tree for $50. Moreover, it had been sitting there for 12 years. I had to replace every moving part (literally!) -you name it, I replaced it.
General comments?
Because of its rack and pinion steering, it handles extremely well, with little lean in as well as excellent cornering capabilities. The cabin itself is very well appointed, from the tachometer to the seats. The only problems though if you have a family, then you shouldn't buy this car for the cabin space. Although in the front you can stretch your legs all the way out, in the rear is only for little (yes little) children only. The performance on this car is very marginal for the drag racer like myself. With a 0-60 time of 14 and a quarter mile of who knows this car is underpowered. This car would make an excellent choice for a young couple though, and I would recommend it.
