1997 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra review from North America
"Phenomenal"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The CD player went bezerk at 43000.
Power windows and locks took a crap on me, but I have a buddy who was able to fix it for me very cheap.
General comments?
This is by far the nicest, sportiest car I have ever owned. it has givin me very few hassles and I just love it! It definitely has the oomph when you neeed it, yet it is refined enough not to send you through the neighbor's house.
Ups: outstanding acceleration.
Cornering at high speeds is tight and agile, moderate body roll.
Excellent fit and finish, being it's a ford.
Nice rumble at startup.
Downs: not so good on gas, but hey what can you expect from a high performance machine with a V8.
Some electrical boo-boo's with the power windows and locks.
Any other preferance-related setbacks.
