1992 Ford Orion Ghia Si review from UK and Ireland
"Stupidly fast, excellent, boy racer car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The rear wheel hub went, meaning the rear bearings had to be changed every 6mths.
The front wishbones only last 6mths before the CV boot cracks.
Problems with starting car from cold.
Exhaust gasket springs regularly need replacing.
Indicator arm needed replacing at 90000 miles.
Gearbox diff needed replacing at 120000 miles.
General comments?
This car is very quick and leaves all other Orion's standing.
The parts for this are fairly cheap as most things that go are common faults for the model.
The seats are comfortable, although the fabric could have been chosen better.
