1993 Ford Probe SE review from North America
"Adorable car, good price at first, but then it's a money pit"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The distributer went at 110,000 miles (I think due to winter storage).
The head gasket blew at 120,000 miles.
The valves were redone at 120,000 miles.
Seats faded.
The cigarette lighter never worked.
The passenger window's motor is going bad.
The car burns oil.
General comments?
This car handles great on the road, in fact, I was surprised at how well it handled in the winter.
Not much space in the back seat for family or friends.
However, the front seats are very comfortable.
Plenty of trunk space.
It was very hard to find parts when it breaks down, and even general maintenance is more expensive than any other car my family has owned.
