1993 Ford Probe GT review from North America
"Fast and furious luxury bargain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The owner before the guy I bought it off of put a really cheap paint job onto it and that is starting to fade. But I was going to fix it and paint it again anyways.
The leather seats are wearing a bit, but not to the point of replacement, remember the car is ten years old.
It eats gas unless I just drive a lot of miles to go where I go.
The bearings are either rusty or loose and makes a really annoying popping noise when you turn into the driveway.
The brakes are embarrissingly loud. Just need to be fixed though.
General comments?
This car is my first "sport car" and is everything I expected it to be.
I raced my friends Mx-5 and won. Of course the Mx-5 only had a four cylinder automatic, it flies and I was pleased to see that my car could keep up to it being so old.
Interior is really holding up. Seat wear isn't that bad.
The general appearance and durability so far seems to be going strong.
