1993 Ford Probe GT review from North America

So far, in the last 3,000 miles that I've had the car, there have been numerous complications with the car.

The first thing that I noticed about the car when it was first purchased was that the struts weren't the best, however, most sports cars aren't usually going to have the incredibly smooth ride you want.

The water pump just recently went bad, and this was evident due to the anti-freeze leaking. I wasn't surprised since I hear that is a problem with most 1993 GT's.

My oil pressure is low as well, which scared me since the oil pump is usually the problem after nothing is wrong with the seals (well, that's after the sensors are checked).

Also, the timing belt is started to chirp, which means time for a new one, which isn't that costly.

The ball joints are also starting to go since it always pops on quick or very slow turns.

Other than those problems, I have all the respect in the world for the Probe.

It handles beautifully since it's tires are pretty wide and it's low to the ground.

It is very quick, especially for the little V6 it's hauling. I've raced two Intrepid's (3.3L, 3.5L), a 95 Celica GT, a 98 Avenger, a 89 Celica GT, a 94 Mustang and have beat them all considerably.

If you take care of it, many problems shouldn't arise.
