"A cheap semi sports car that handles like a dream, but could use some more ponies under the hood"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Tune up at 60,000. Engine Started Skipping.

Fuel Pump at 60,000.

Mass airflow sensor at 70,000.

Power window switch Broke at 75,000

Radiator started leaking at 80,000.

General comments?

The car will handle like a German sports car. The engine is dull and could use some more pones under the hood. Seats are well bolsterd and keep you in place for high performance driving, but lack lumbar support for long trips and are rather hard. Back seat is for small children only and is a pain to access. I like the cars design and interior it gives it a sports car feel with the black on tan interior.

I have a 1996 se. with just 47k on it. the probe is very reliable if you conduct the planned maintennace on time or before it's due. never ever on any car wait untill the manufactures pm is due. Remember there is no money in the cure. The only way to prevent any car from failing before it is time is to due things before they are supposed to be done. The flip side to doing it on schedule is crisis mangement. if you do it on time then you cost your self more money.

I have a 1996 Probe Se. 160,000 miles. 4 cylinder. When I have it in neutral it wants to die. I have changed the spark plugs and put a new fuel filter on it, but it still wants to die. What can I do?
