1994 Ford Probe SE review from North America
"A quick sporty looking car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have not had any problems out of the ordinary.
I have only replaced the battery.
I will replace the rear hatch gas struts soon because they are becoming weak.
General comments?
The Probe handles like a dream, and is very fast around corners.
The position of the driver's seat makes it very easy to drive the car with confidence. The rear view mirror allows you to see out the entire rear window easily.
The motor is only a 2.0 liter, four cylinder, but has a lot of pep to it.
I added a 2.75 inch exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter back to a high performance muffler and got a rich deep rumble out of the car.
It is a little hard to find any other performance parts, though.
It would have been nice if Ford had given both the SE and the GT more power.
