1993 Ford Probe GT review from North America
"Slick, sleek, and sexy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The air sensor goes out quite often.
The interior lasts a while, but goes out quick.
The engine needs cleaned and flushed about every 10,000 miles.
Also, the air intake system suffocates the engine horribly.
General comments?
I love this car. I own two, and am in the process of buying a third. The sleek curves, and massive options for upgrades makes this car my favorite in the world.
It is a "I'll meet you there" car. It has very little room in the back, but loads in the front. And the hatch area holds far more than standard cars.
The engine is reliable up to about 100,000 miles, but with a little care, it will go way further.
I have gotten my car up to 70MPH in second gear, and at 4000 RPMs in third gear, I had it to 85 MPH. I have bounced the needle in fourth gear, and I have no idea how fast she really is.
