1975 Ford Ranchero GT review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I blew the motor. It was a 400ci which was very lacking in the performance area. I guess you're not supposed to take a 400 to 9000 rpm. haha ha.
General comments?
I Replaced the 400 with a 460, had to do a lot of custom stuff, motor mounts, exhaust etc. Now it's a Champ. It owns the quarter mile at 13.6. The 460, obviously not stock (intake manifold, cam, rocker arms, carb, pulleys, electric fan, shift kit) is a beast and I suggest it to anyone who wants all out brute force and strength.
