"A nice, solid, reliable truck"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The column alignment is off.

Right rear blinker went out at approximately 131,000 miles.

Headlight alignment was off when purchased.

General comments?

It's 4-wheel drive capabilities are outstanding.

However, it lacks speed in acceleration.

My '96 ranger XLT is by far the best car I have ever owned. Aside from being a little gutles due to the 2.3 liter 4 banger, the only problem I have had was with the really bad Firestone tires, (and not even the recalled ones), but once I got those off and put on 15" rims and 30" tires it rides better and handles better all around. I have 90,000 miles and aside from regular oil changes I have not had to do anything mechanical to it. I take it out in the desert and beat on it on a regular basis, I have even had it airborne twice, although neither time was intentional, and it hasn't complained to me in the slightest.

Bottom line is, I can't find anything bad to say about the truck other than I wish I had another one.
