1999 Ford Ranger XLT review from North America
"Overall good truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has really gone wrong with it. When I bought it there was a lot of slack in the steering. Also there is a jolt when I take off. It is the same if I am pulling a tandem axel trailer with 4 four-wheelers or if I have nothing behind it.
General comments?
This is an awesome truck. It is loaded. 4x4 works great. I have never had this truck stuck because I use 2x4 until I get stuck then put it in 4x4 to help me turn around and get out of there. I am 6' 4" I have plenty of head and leg room. For a little truck the seats are great. My brother has a 2004 toyota tacoma and on the inside it is not half the truck my ranger is. Toyota's do have a better name backing them, but there is no head room my legs touch the dash the seats are cheap feeling. I like My truck a lot better. If I could afford it I would buy a 2005 toyota tacoma those things are sweet.
