1995 Ford Scorpio Ultima review from UK and Ireland
"An excellent cheap luxury cruiser"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
New steering rack.
New front discs and nearside calliper.
Heater control panel replaced on the dash.
General comments?
The Scorpio is a lovely car to drive, the interior is very comfortable.
Acceleration isn't very good on the 2.0 litre but general performance is quite good, if I was to buy another it would be the 2.3 which is excellent.
The steering rack started to leak 5 days after the warranty ran out, Ford didn't want to know so I had to pay for it myself, the rack is expensive so
check this before you buy.
The front nearside calliper seized warping the discs but both are easy enough to change.
All in all though I have been happy with the car.
