1991 Ford Sierra XR4x4 review from Netherlands
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Engine reconditioned at 53000.
Clutch gone at 58000, needs replacment again; Car likes to eat clutches before breakfast.
Catalysor renewed due to failure of fuel sensor.
Rubber bushes need to be replaced every 2 year.
Driveshaft unbalance at 100.000 km.
Extremely thirsty when driven hard.
General comments?
Loads of torque and a lot of grip in the wet: very safe and fun to drive.
Mechanics are troublesome, electrics no problem at all.
