1983 Ford Sierra review from Romania
"This car drinks more fuel than a locomotive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A lot of minor things, but the car went through a lot during it's life - so I was expecting a lot worse; besides I drive it like a mad-man so no wonder the fuel pump cracked.
Minor rust, and the dashboard cracked too.
General comments?
Bought the car just for fun and for trips... extremely reliable car, but, there is a, but -
i don't know about other 1,6 Sierras, but mine is extremely thirsty I mean OK... I have a heavy foot, but give me a break, I recorded an unbelievable fuel consumption of more than 30L/100km that's about 7,50-8 mpg, and I'm not kidding, but I repeat I do like to rev it like it was no tomorrow
the most powerful 1.6 engine I've ever driven, thou
and very fun to drive because of the RWD.
