1987 Ford Taurus review from North America
"Don't buy used, please!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes.
CPU @ $500.
Thermostat.
Heater hoses.
Radiator!
Transimission once (good for a Taurus, changed the fluid regularly - 30,000 miles).
Motor mounts.
CV joints.
A/C compressor. A/C constantly leaks, after numerous O-ring changes.
Power steering and oil leaks.
The cooling system is trash, I can't keep water or anti-freeze in the car. Water pump.
Rusty as all get out.
General comments?
I like it when it runs. Which means I like it about 50% of the time.
