1997 Ford Taurus GL review from North America
"The best first car I could have"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Window motors, driver's seat motor, door panel fell off, door locks grunt (no idea why)
General comments?
I hated Tauruses before I bought this GL for 500 dollars.
I love it. It is my first car.
I bought it off my friend. It was hit by an ambulance I believe before I purchased it.
The car is slow when getting up to speed.
The heater takes forever to warm up.
The seats could be a little more comfy.
The car shakes at certain speeds (is a known issue and is no main concern. Yet, is expensive to repair)
I am trading it in for a newer car and am dreading it now.
It is a great car for its age.
It blends in on roads.
No one knows its age.
