1991 Ford Taurus Stationwagon review from North America
"It is such a great car that even though I just bought a sports car, I do not want to get rid of it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced the transmission in 1997 and it cost $2,400.00 at the dealership.
A/C was repaired shortly after and that cost $800.00. I bought the car with a lot of miles on it already.
Radiator.
Water pump.
Alternator.
Engine mount bracket.
Brakes.
General comments?
My husband is in the Automotive business so it was easy to keep this car running. I was shocked when it needed a new transmission but, I loved the
car so much that it was well worth the money.
It was very spacious and served us well in traveling back and forth with two boys that were active in sports. I loved the way the body of the stationwagon never changed much from year to year.
I just bought a Pontiac Firebird 2 Door Coupe since the children are teenagers now. We are keeping our reliable Taurus Station Wagon.
