1991 Ford Taurus LX review from North America
"Good family car, but needs too much repair if older"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Motor mounts had to be replaced.
Front driver side caliper bolt failed causing caliper, and rotor to be replaced.
Rear ABS locked up back breaks.
A/C seals and compressor leaking.
General comments?
The car is great when everything works correctly. But most of the time there are problems. It seems as though every time I take it in for a minor repair it ends up costing me a fortune.
The car itself is very comfortable and roomy. It also drives easily and handles well for a larger vehicle. It also has great gas mileage for highway driving.
