1987 Ford Taurus GL review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes wear quickly, constant electrical problems, steering column locked up twice - I have had this car two years and have towed it six times. Compared to the other 8 cars I have owned, this is a piece of wheat.
147,000mi. Previous owners may have not taken good care of it. Expensive to repair and service. Even the fan belt is $60 from the dealer. Just for the part.
Good luck. Don't buy a Ford. This one and the Tempo were crap. I had a Fiesta which was OK.
