1992 Ford Taurus GL review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rebuilt transmission, replaced head gasket, cracked heater core, overheats constantly.
General comments?
Repair cost will vary, I know that it would've been cheaper to repair in my home town but I moved and went with who I found. I bought this car used, and I have to say that the previous owners sold it at exactly the right time. It had great power in the engine - it should it's a V6. BUT, I can't even drive it to work anymore without worrying about having problems = very frustrating. Things have been going wrong with the car periodically, many small things in addition to the major problems listed above. I will avoid Fords like the plague from now on.
