Transmission replaced four times.
Brakes have gone out twice.
Serpentine belt replaced at 65,000.
Driver back door sticks.
ABS sensor light on at 70,000.
Although I have had many problems with the car I still love it and it is a very comfortable ride and an OK car.
I can understand your disappointment with the many items going wrong with your car. However, it would have been helpful to know why you still like the auto so much in spite of having to deal with these problems. That way we could have a more balanced picture of your car.
If you can add some of the good aspects about it beside roominess it would help others decide whether or not this particular model might be one to consider purchasing in the future. For instance--good mileage, no stalling problems, does not overly consume oil etc--can give a more well-rounded picture of why this car is one you enjoy.
Since the Taurus is one of the models on my "maybe" list, I will take the points you have made into consideration and thank you for posting your thoughts on your vehicle.
