"I think the car's a pretty fast sleeper that lasts long!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

One of the one bad things I remember that happened to my car was that the heater stopped working; I can't remember the mileage when it did though.

Other things that have gone wrong was the whole front suspension, tie rods, ball joints, etc... But a mechanic told that they were weakened and totally worn (something like that) when I had hit a deer. The suspension work came at 171,xxx miles.

The car is a little bit on the heavy side 4,500 pounds.

General comments?

My 95 Thunderbird V-8 to me is the best car I've had; to me it's a sleeper. People don't think that it's as quick as it actually is. I race people quite often, and it seems like they always beat me off the line, but at about 30 mph the car takes off like a rocket. I used my cell phone's stopwatch, and got 0-80 in about 13 seconds. Give or take a little bit.

The front seats are cloth and have lasted well. The trunk in my opinion is pretty large. But the cup holders aren't in the right place, they're IN the center console, so any papers in there get wet if the drink sweats down on it.

I don't like the rims on it; I think they are pretty small 15x6.5 in. To me it's hard to find performance tires for it. I think the tires on it spin a little too easy sometimes. I've had to do no engine work on it, and the paint has lasted well.

The dual exhaust is a little weak on it (no deep rumble sound).

The stock speakers in it aren't bad; just get a new head-unit (installs easy).
