1995 Ford Thunderbird LX review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When we bought the car, we had less than 1000 miles on it when the transmission went out. Has an automatic temp sensor that controls the heat and air, malfunctions when it rains as it gets wet.
Bad shimmy in front when put on brakes which ruined the tires. Have taken the car in many times for the brakes, as soon as warranty gone, Ford refuses to even look at it again. They have never fixed the sensor so I can use the air conditioner in a heavy rain, doesn't matter how hot it is, all I get is heat when it rains. Only good thing, they fixed the transmission without a problem. Every other T-bird owner and unfortunately, Cougar owner, I have talked to have had the same problems - identical in fact........
