1978 Ford Thunderbird 2 door hardtop review from North America
"Best buy I've ever had with a car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The transmission blew and was rebuilt. Haven't had to fix anything else major that I know about.
Driver's seat is pretty torn up.
There was no belts for the A/C or smog pump and I don't know if they work.
Has went into vapor lock once and hasn't done it again, at least yet.
Kind of pulls to one side, I believe from being in some type of accident, but the engine still runs great.
General comments?
This has been a great car, it's my first, but it has done great and has only left me in despair twice.
Extremely reliable. Only cost $300 too, plus the rebuilt transmission.
I'm not sure on the miles because the dial only has 5 digits and shows around 65000, but I figure it's 165,000 because of how nice the engine still runs.
