"An excellent automobile all around"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing major has gone wrong with this car.

The brakes needed to be done all around, and produce heavy brake dust.

Lights for drive indication and dashboard are almost all burnt out. Have replaced the cyclops lights for the brakes twice and have both burnt out quickly after.

General comments?

I agree with the cupholder issues. They are in a bad spot and do not fit bigger size cups. But, difficult to put anywhere else in the car.

Car is fast and still feels great to drive after 6 years of owning it. It will be hard to trade up to a new car.

I like the low-to-the-ground feel and bucket seats. Car came with many options including, traction assist, auto lights, cruise control, digital climate control, etc.

I am a proud owner of a 1995 Thunderbird LX V8. This car is one of the best cars I've ever driven (and I've driven some pretty nice cars.) To me this car, the bang for your buck is almost none to be beaten especially because, they almost never have problems and they're reliable. Though I have had a few minor problems, such as my mater cylinder and my power booster on my brakes have gone out on me twice (second was due to the mechanic I went to,) and the normal wear and tear that a car would have. Few complaints I have about the car include (like many others) the cup holders, the speed nanny (which stops any acceleration past 105 mph,) the transmission takes a little time to respond when shifting, resulting in small jolts that passengers feel, and finally the traction it has when it rains. The traction on this car when the ground is even slightly wet, the traction is horrible (all T-bird owners know what I'm talking about), but once it gets to a certain speed is fine, though this naturally occurs, because the car is a rear wheel drive (with little weight in the back too) and has a huge engine in the front, and when you have a heavy engine in the front, with all the power directed the back were there is nothing holding it to the ground, this will happen. Other than that it's an awesome vehicle, and also I added a few modifications to it such as a catback flow master exhaust, k&n intake system, new computer chip (which takes away the 105 mph speed limit) and a new stereo system, because my vehicle came with a tape deck. Thanks for reading review on this car, and hope you like it.
