"A very high performance car for how cheap you can get them for"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

My front brakes shimmy at low speeds when slowing down.

I replaced water pump at 115,000.

I have been having cooling problems since I purchased the car.

The front end make a thumping noise when I hit bumps.

The rear passenger shock makes a thumping noise when I hit bumps.

The transmission started jerking at 117,000.

The rocker panels are rusted beyond repair, but I heard that was normal in T-Birds.

General comments?

This is probably the best car I have owned besides all the problems I have been having recently.

It gets a lot of looks, especially when a car pulls up next to you and tries to race and you blow it off the road.

I was surprised at how much power this car has and how comfortable it is to ride in.

I always get good comments from people when they see it.

Thumps on bumps in the front, sounds like sway bar links are worn out. But something is worn out up there. In the rear? A shock is more than likely loose. Nothing lasts forever, and some preventive maintenance is in order. Was the tranny serviced regularly?? If it hasn't been, don't start now or you could be worse off. They are expensive to replace so wait until it's bad enough to warranty it.
