1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe review from North America
"Awesome Car. My personal Favorite"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the heater core.. it leaked when I purchased the car.
I used to own an 86 Turbo Coupe I drove it from brand new until it had 400,000 kilometers on it and it still ran.. I find this VERY reliable. No engine rebuild or anything.. had to replace the fuel pump and turbo once though.
General comments?
These Turbo Coupes are great cars.
The newer style 87 and 88s feel and are much quicker then the older 83-86 models.
Both my 86 and 88 were fun to drive and I'm excited to have one again, I am happy with my new purchase.
The interior has leather and a sunroof.. but the seats seem a little cramped for the driver, my old 86 was good, but the 88s power seats don't fit me right.. then again I am 6'3.
