1965 Ford Thunderbird Town Landau review from North America
"This car sums up mid sixties sport-luxury in this one model"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First of all. it's an old car. So don't look at these problems the same as you would a newer car.
I've had the transmission rebuilt.
New intake and exhaust gaskets.
New Starter and Carb.
General comments?
1966 was the last year of the "Flairbird" model design, and in my opinion, the best looking one.
The ride is quiet and very smooth. No harsh jolts over expansion joints or speed bumps. Power to spare with the 428 motor.
The interior is unique, designed with an aircraft cockpit in mind.
