1992 Ford Thunderbird V6 review from North America
"An underpowered, overly thirsty boat"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Heating Coil failed sometime before 2002.
Solenoid failed around 200,000, also starter motor.
Brakes began squealing around 200,038.
Transmission began skipping gears around 200,000, possibly flywheel related.
Steering wheel corrodes easily.
General comments?
The car is very big, and highly comfortable, however, it is prone to break downs that happen repeatedly, not just once.
The steering is the car's best feature, its absolutelu effortless to get this car anywhere, it has one of the best turning radius' I've ever had the chance to use, and palming the wheel takes less effort that scratching your back.
