1986 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe review from North America
"Outstanding handling,27 mpg"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Watch the charging system carefully. Wiring connector fires at the altenator/regulator are not unusual. had this problem. Faulty window operation is most commonly a bad ground at the motor in the lower door panel. Waste gate cracked on the turbo/600.oo dollars. transmission front seal is difficult to replace on the Borg/Warner transmission/1100 dollars. LOOK UP thunderbird Ranch for parts.
General comments?
Very few of these still running. Not a vehicle for the non-mechanical type person.
