1996 Ford Windstar GL review from North America
"Poorly engineered engine. Otherwise a comfortable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Several electrical problems. Had to replace two sensors(passenger door and brake).
Faulty brakes.
Replaced stabilizer bar.
Head gasket replacement ($1,500). The head gasket problem was supposedly fixed after the 94-95 model recall.
General comments?
Comfortable ride and practical, but there is always some minor problem.
