1995 Ford Windstar LX review from North America
"Poor Quality, Poor Customer Service"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head Gasket Blew out on cyl 4.
Had The Transmission Rebuilt twice.
Cost of repairs on struts and shocks were abnormally high.
Engine work is also abnormally high because of tight area to work in and labor.
General comments?
Ford Customer Service is poor, and they will not admit to a serious problem with there 3.8 v6 engine. This issued a program to repair 95 windstars headgaskets in Sept 2000 but only extended for 6yrs 100k, 5 years after the production year. By then most windstars were out of that window and were not covered.
My Windstar has been sitting in my driveway since December 2001.
