General comments?
Our check engine light came on about 1 month ago. Since then I have had the van in the shop 7 or 8 times and have spent so far about $300 but the light still comes on. They want to replace the upper intake gaskets (another $350) and/or the coil pack (another $300) to try to fix the problem which they don't know what it is except that the code is for a misfire at cylinder number 4. We have had transmission problems with it starting at 10,000 miles. However, we do have 150,000 miles on it which is a lot more than I thought we'd ever get to and have only spent about $1,000 so far in repairs but I have a feeling that is about to go way up!
